Description
Shoppers read reviews before they buy. WooCommerce shows them in exactly one place — the single product page — so a visitor who lands on your homepage, a category page, a campaign page or a landing page never sees the proof your customers wrote for you. The most persuasive thing your store owns is invisible at the moment it would close the sale.
Copying reviews into pages by hand does not scale. Quotes go stale the moment a review is edited, a hand-built slider becomes a second version of the truth, and moderating a flat comment list means you cannot filter by product, rating or status.
Every approved review, on any page you choose
TillFoundry All Product Reviews gathers every approved product review into one design and renders it wherever you place the [all_reviews] shortcode — a page, a post or a widget — or through five blocks in the block editor. Reviews render newest first with avatar, author, star rating, a Verified owner badge, the product each review belongs to and its date. A rating summary shows the average and a clickable 1–5 star distribution, and a filter bar (rating, sort, verified owners, photos and optional search) works without JavaScript.

Six designs, chosen once
Pick a design on All Reviews → Review Page and every [all_reviews] on the site uses it: Customer Stories, Journal, Lookbook, Stories, Testimonials or the classic List. Each design is a real layout with a purpose — a photo wall for stores that collect customer pictures, a long-form magazine page for stores whose reviews are worth reading, a compact list with the most detail per review. Individual shortcodes can still override the saved design with the layout attribute, and every part can be switched off on its own.

Build it visually and style it without CSS
Five blocks cover the same ground inside the block editor: Customer Reviews (the full list), Reviews Hero, Featured Review, Review Rating Summary and Review Rating. The editor preview is rendered by the server, so what you see is what the page renders. Each block has Layout, Colours and Size & spacing panels plus a Show or hide panel for every component. Colours are hex only and sizes are clamped, so a style value can never escape its declaration, and a block follows your Review Page defaults until you change something in its sidebar.

Moderate every review from one screen
All Reviews replaces the flat comment list with a filterable admin screen: summary cards for all, approved, pending, spam and trash reviews plus the average rating; filters for search text, product, product ID, category, rating, status, verified owners and sorting; bulk actions to approve, hold, spam, trash, restore or delete permanently; per-review row actions and a link to the native comment editor; photo thumbnails and a with-photos / without-photos filter; and a CSV export of the current selection of up to 20,000 rows per download, including photo URLs.

Customer photos are displayed, not collected
WooCommerce does not capture photos with a review, and this plugin adds no upload field of its own. It displays the images and videos a compatible photo-review tool has already stored in the reviews-images comment meta: thumbnails under each review open in a lightbox with keyboard navigation and focus handling. Attachment images and plain image URLs both work, so reviews imported from a marketplace render too. If your tool uses a different meta key, filter awr_review_images_meta_key to point the plugin at it. With no such media, reviews render as text only.
Audited from a 320px phone to a 2560px display
Every design is tested from 320px to 2560px in portrait and landscape, at three container widths, and again with the browser font size raised to 150%. Touch targets stay at least 44px, long strings break instead of scrolling the page sideways, photo galleries drop to a single column in a narrow container, and every design has a designed empty state, a busy state, a failure message and a screen-reader live region.

What you get — all of it free
Every feature below ships in this build. There is no paid tier, no licence key and no upgrade prompt, and nothing is held back for a Pro or Agency plan.
Display
- One
[all_reviews]shortcode for any page, post or widget, and five blocks for the block editor. - Six designs — Customer Stories, Journal, Lookbook, Stories, Testimonials and List — with a visual picker and a note on when to use each.
- A rating summary with the average score and a clickable 1–5 star distribution.
- A filter bar for rating, sort order, verified owners, photos and optional search, working without JavaScript.
- Pagination as numbered pages, an AJAX Load more button, or no pagination at all.
- Seeded random sorting that never repeats or skips a review while paging, pinnable with
seed="1234". - Per-block styling from the editor: colours, type scale, spacing, corner radius, photo and avatar sizes, and masonry or aligned card rows.
- Every component individually hideable, so a page can show a bare list of quotes or a full editorial spread.
Moderation and export
- Admin screen at All Reviews with summary cards and filters for search, product, product ID, category, rating, status, verified owners and sort order.
- Bulk approve, hold, spam, trash, restore and delete, plus per-review row actions and a link to the native comment editor.
- Photo thumbnails and a with-photos / without-photos filter.
- CSV export of the current selection, up to 20,000 rows per download, including photo URLs.
Reviews and photos
- Displays the images and videos a compatible photo-review tool stored in the
reviews-imagescomment meta, as thumbnails that open in a keyboard-accessible lightbox. - Attachment IDs and plain image URLs both supported, so imported marketplace reviews render too.
- YouTube, Vimeo and Dailymotion links open in the same lightbox; each provider is contacted only when a visitor opens that video.
- The
awr_review_images_meta_keyfilter for a different collection tool.
For developers
- Template tags
awr_get_reviews_html()andawr_reviews(), plus template partials a theme can override fromyour-theme/all-product-reviews/. - Documented CSS custom properties (
--awr-user-accentand the rest) for theming a block or a whole design. - Filters for the highlights row, the category list and the reviews query; server-rendered block previews with no build step.
- HPOS compatibility declared to WooCommerce, and the reviews query restricted to approved reviews of published products on the front end, including for AJAX requests.
All of the above is free. There is no Pro or Agency tier to unlock — the whole plugin is the product. TillFoundry builds small, focused WooCommerce plugins, so if this one solves reviews for you, the rest of the store is worth a look.
How it works
- 1. Install and activate. Install the ZIP through Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, or upload the plugin folder to
/wp-content/plugins/, then activate it. A page called "Customer Reviews" containing the[all_reviews]shortcode is created automatically on activation; disable that with theawr_create_reviews_page_on_activatefilter. - 2. Choose a design. Open All Reviews → Review Page and pick one of the six designs, the columns, the accent colour and which parts appear.
- 3. Place it. Add
[all_reviews]to any page, post or widget, add one of the five blocks, or callawr_reviews()from a theme template. - 4. Moderate. Approve, hold, spam or trash reviews, filter by product or rating, and export the current selection to CSV from All Reviews.
- 5. Optionally, show photos. If a compatible collection tool has stored media in the
reviews-imagescomment meta, photos appear automatically; no configuration is needed.
Requirements
| WordPress | 5.8 or higher (tested up to 7.1) |
| PHP | 7.4 or higher |
| WooCommerce | 5.0 or higher (tested up to 11.1). The plugin checks for WooCommerce at runtime and shows an admin notice on its own screens instead of failing when it is missing. |
| HPOS | Compatible with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage |
Does it work with WooCommerce HPOS?
Yes. The plugin only reads product reviews, which are WordPress comments, and it declares compatibility with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage.
What happens when my licence expires?
There is no licence to expire. Every feature ships in this build with no key, no activation and no expiry date, so nothing stops working over time.
Does the free version stop working?
No. This is the complete plugin, not a time-limited trial. Designs, blocks, filters, the photo lightbox and the admin review screen are all included and remain available.
Can I use it on client sites?
Yes. It is released under the GPL and there is no per-site limit, so you can install it on as many sites as you manage, including client sites.
Do you offer refunds?
The plugin itself is free, so there is nothing to refund. If you buy another TillFoundry product from this store, the store’s refund policy applies to that purchase.
Where is my data stored?
In your own WordPress database, and nowhere else. The plugin sends no analytics or telemetry and has no licence client, so it never reports your site URL, WordPress version or PHP version. The only external requests are made by the visitor’s own browser: default review avatars come from WordPress’s Gravatar service, and opening a video in the lightbox loads that provider’s player. Avatars can be turned off in the settings.
Do the review photos work with my photo-review tool?
The plugin reads the reviews-images comment meta used by photo-review tools, which stores an array of attachment IDs or, for imported reviews, image URLs. Both forms are supported, along with videos and YouTube, Vimeo or Dailymotion links. For any other tool, filter awr_review_images_meta_key to return its meta key.
About the licence
TillFoundry All Product Reviews for WooCommerce is free software released under the GNU General Public License v2.0 or later. There is no annual fee, no licence key, no activation limit and no expiry date: you can install it on as many sites as you manage, including client sites. Updates arrive as new versions you install over the current one; because the free plugin contains no licence client, it makes no outbound request to a licence server and there is nothing to renew or activate. Because the code is GPL, you may modify and redistribute it under the same licence.
